EN Standard Hydraulic Hose – Spiral or Braid Reinforcement for Higher Pressure

EN standard hydraulic hose is another standard all over the world. It has different reinforcement structures, such as different braid or spiral layers to increase the pressure of hydraulic hose. EN 853 1SN Steel Wire Reinforced Hydraulic Rubber Hose

Introduction

EN 853 1SN single wire braided hydraulic hose is mainly used in high pressure hydraulic systems. The difference between 1ST and 1SN is that the later type has thinner covers. So type 1SN is not suitable for applications that requires remove.

High tensile steel wire braid reinforcement provides high working pressure and ozone and weather resistant synthetic rubber cover protecting the inside reinforcement and tube from abrasion and corrosion. It is suitable for carrying fluids such as glycol, mineral oil, fuel, lubricants, emulsion, hydrocarbon etc.

EN 853 2SN Steel Wire Reinforced Hydraulic Rubber Hose

Introduction

EN 853 2SN hydraulic rubber hose is reinforced by two-braid high tensile steel wires to support high working pressures – up to 6020 psi at 3/16" I.D.. Oil resistant tube and ozone & abrasion resistant cover contribute long-term service life. It is available to convey water based and petroleum based hydraulic fluids within -40°C to 100°C (max. 120 °C intermittent).

They are widely used in offshore, forestry, factories and similar applications where abrasion resistance requirements is strict.

EN 857 1SC Steel Wire Reinforced Hydraulic Rubber Hose

Introduction

EN 857 1SC hydraulic hose has similar performance with its counterpart SAE 100R1 besides tighter bending radius. It is reinforced by one-braid high tensile wire. Ozone and weather resistant cover separates the tube from the outside environment and effectively extends the service life of hydraulic hose. Single wire braided 1SC high pressure hydraulic hose is suitable for high pressure conditions where tight routing is required.

This type hydraulic hose owns oil resistant inner tube, which will not deform when transporting water based and petroleum based hydraulic fluids within -40 °C to +100 °C. The two-braid high tensile steel wires support high working pressure with tight bend radius. Chemicals and weather resistant cover guard long service life of the whole hose.

EN 856 4SH Steel Wire Spiraled Hydraulic Rubber Hose

Introduction

EN 856 4SH steel wire spiraled hydraulic rubber hose consists of an inner tube of oil resistant synthetic rubber, four spiral layers of spiral wires reinforcement and is covered with oil and weather resistant synthetic rubber. Spiral hydraulic hose shares outstanding kick resistance, impulse resistance and can support surge pressure.

EN 856 4SH hydraulic hose is widely used in applications where high pressure, high abrasion and kick resistance are urgently required. It is also be used in petroleum based hydraulic fluids within a temperature ranging from -40 °C to +100 °C.

EN 856 4SP Steel Wire Spiraled Hydraulic Rubber Hose

Introduction

EN 856 4SP hydraulic rubber hose is similar to EN 856 4SH hydraulic hose, but the working pressure (under the same working temperature) is higher than EN 856 4SH hose. Four-spiral high tensile spiral wire reinforcement structure gives the hose best abrasion resistance and impulse fatigue. This kind of reinforcement is ideal for outdoor applications like forestry and mine equipment.

Oil resistant synthetic rubber is widely used in water and petroleum based hydraulic fluids within -40 °C to +100 °C. If the working temperature is lower or higher than the temperature, the service life of the hose will be changed.
